Todd Abrahamson - Superintendent
As your superintendent, my family and I are very excited to be a part of the Okoboji school community. Everyone should be proud of what Okoboji has to offer all students. High academic standards, strong athletic and fine arts programs, and much more. Also, you should feel Proud To Be PiONEers that are Outstanding, Optimistic, and Opportunity for ALL.
Thank you for your interest in Okoboji Community School District. On behalf of the school board, administration, faculty, staff and students of our district, I want to welcome you to our community and encourage you to learn more about the many incredible programs and services we offer for students.
Our website is designed to be a quick and easy way for you to learn about our school district. Along with stories about the many accomplishments of our students, you will find information about all aspects of our district. Our website is also the gateway to exploring the sites of our school district and various programs that we offer for students.
We are excited to welcome you to the district and look forward to providing your children with a challenging education that builds academic competence, encourages creativity, promotes innovation, collaboration, and team building.
Our schools are full of teachers and staff working furiously to ensure classrooms are ready. We are so thankful for the many parents serving on Pioneer Parents, being involved in many organizations and committees in the school community, supporting their children in school activities, and becoming more informed and engaged with their child’s education.
I want to assure everyone we have a great teaching staff that teaches with passion and purpose in their respective areas of expertise. We will teach our students with high expectations using standards that are robust and relevant. Also, we will strive to develop healthy meaningful relationships where students are valued, celebrated, and challenged.
We are committed to keeping our kids safe and giving them our very best. It is our hope you will be an “all in” parent/guardian/community member/community leader for your child and every child in our district. It is Team Okoboji. Your school administrative staff always has an open door. Never hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns. You are always welcome to call me on my cell at 641-295-5171 if you are unable to get your questions or concerns answered by appropriate staff.
