Hello, Okoboji Community!
I am excited and honored to serve as the new Okoboji Elementary Principal! I look forward to working alongside our students, staff, families, and community as we continue Pioneering Pathways for every student.
Prior to joining Okoboji, I spent 10.5 years in education at Graettinger-Terril Community School District, serving in a variety of roles including paraprofessional, TK teacher, first grade teacher, fifth grade teacher, and district mentor teacher. I also had the opportunity to work with our custodial and transportation teams, which gave me a unique perspective on the many people who contribute to a successful school.
My wife, Brooke, and I were both born and raised in Graettinger. We have been married for four years and have one child, Teague. As a family, we enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking, golfing, playing pickleball, and enjoying time at the lake.
I love connecting with students, families, staff, and community members, so please don't hesitate to stop by, introduce yourself, or say hello if you see me around the community. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve you and your children.
