Okoboji High School is committed to preparing students for a productive life in a changing world. This means focusing on constant improvement, technology integration to support learning, and ever-changing opportunities. Some of these include new courses in computer science, engineering, and more. Successful students have not only knowledge but also the skills to apply that knowledge in meaningful ways. OHS is focused on Universal Constructs such as creativity, complex communication, adaptability, productivity, collaboration, and more that enable students to apply their knowledge to new and changing situations throughout their lives.

WIDE VARIETY OF EXTRACURRICULAR OPPORTUNITIES

Our students are encouraged to get involved in various activities, including sports and Esports, fine arts such as speech, debate, mock trial, music, leadership organizations such as student council, Key Club, and National Honor Society, and more. More than 90% of our students are involved in our extracurricular programs. Whatever a student’s interest and passion, they can connect with a team or organization here at OHS.
