I have been a part of the Okoboji Pioneer family as Okoboji High School Principal since August of 2010. Before coming to Okoboji, I spent four years as Secondary Principal in Lisbon, Iowa.  Before my transition into administration, I taught social studies and coached track and cross country at South Tama High School in Tama, Iowa.   

My wife Annie and I are both natives of the Iowa Great Lakes Area and know how blessed we were to be raised in this area.  We are thrilled that our four kids are able to call this area home as well.  The Okoboji district has a history of success for all students.  Okoboji students are encouraged and empowered to excel both within and outside the classroom.  We have a caring and experienced faculty and staff that work hard every day to ensure that all students are given the tools to succeed.  I look forward to working and learning with you as we strive to bring a world-class education to every student of the Okoboji School District.
