EXEMPLARS

Multi-Tiered System of Supports
We have successfully implemented a decision-making framework of evidence-based practices in instruction and assessment that addresses the needs of all students.

Special Education (SPED)
As SPED is our biggest department in the district, we created a plan that provides a framework for the delivery of services to students who qualify for an Individual Education Plan (IEP).

ELA: CKLA/StudySync
Teaching children how to read and write are two of the hardest feats a teacher will be asked to complete. Having an effective literacy program helps teachers complete that difficult task effectively.

Math: Eureka/Illustrative Math
High quality mathematics instruction provides all students with access to mathematics through collaborative engagement in challenging mathematics tasks, participation in discussions about students’ mathematical thinking, and formalization of these discussions toward conceptually grounded mathematical understanding.
