The Okoboji Homecoming Parade will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, @ 2:15 pm. We would encourage local businesses to join us in this great event. If your business wants to be in the parade, please fill out the form on the OHS Facebook Page by Wednesday, September 30th. All Parade participants will line up in the Middle School parking lot by 1:30 pm.

Homecoming window painting will be offered to any businesses in the Okoboji School District. Students will paint windows on Monday, September 28th, and clean them on Sunday, October 4th. If your business wants to have windows painted, please fill out the form on the OHS Facebook Page by Thursday, September 24th.

Okoboji schools present “Pioneers’ Greatest Hits” for Homecoming 2026, running from September 28th- October 2nd, 2026.

This year's Homecoming activities include:

Wednesday, September 30th, 7:00 PM - Coronation and Community Pep Rally, OHS South Gym, followed by Beefcake Volleyball and Powderpuff Football finals.
Friday, October 2nd, 1:00 PM - All-School Pep Rally followed by the Community Parade beginning at 2:15 PM. The parade will begin at OMS on 6th Street (East), to H Avenue (North), to 7th Street (East), to N Avenue (North), to 10th Street (West), and back to Okoboji High School.
Friday, October 2nd, 7:00 PM - Homecoming Football Game vs. Southeast Valley, halftime entertainment by the OHS Dance Team and the Pioneer Pride Marching Band.
Friday, October 2nd, 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM - OHS Homecoming Dance at OHS Commons.
